SA SHI IRE uses avatars and robots to enable unemployed people find work through remote control access.
Challenge
While the labor shortage in Japan is critically increasing, there are still people who cannot obtain job opportunities because of their age, appearance, or place of residence.
Opportunity
SA SHI IRE aims to provide new opportunities for people to work “where they want, when they want, and how they want” by combining the already expanding remote work with a new element of avatar work.
Where SA SHI IRE Is Today
The team has validated demand on the worker side, recruiting 108 workers interested in avatar-based work, a significant number of whom are already repeat workers. Demand validation on the employer side is progressing, with an encouraging first stream of revenue leading to several employer customers earmarking funds for avatar work in future budgets.
