3DP

3D Printing Clothes (3DP) is a sustainable fashion platform that enables everyday people to 3D print clothes directly from their homes.

About 3DP

Challenge

The existing ready-to-wear, big brand fashion industry focuses on mass-production and achieves those goals using cheap labor force in developing countries. However, any company wishing to disrupt this pattern finds it nearly impossible to achieve competitive unit cost.

Opportunity

3D Printing Clothes is developing new filaments and fabric spools that can be printed into wearable textiles. As the technology matures, 3D-printed fabrics enable

a circular economy that has never been achieved before - allowing users to recycle quality, custom material clothing on demand. EIR Danit Peleg’s vision for a distributed model also introduces disruptive second-order effects: reducing retail storefronts, shipping & logistics costs, and more.

Where 3DP Is Today

The initial 3DP material development process has been wrapped up and is currently in business development mode to identify potential partners to find the right application for the 3DP materials and explore business potential.
